This was just probably straight up EA. They did the same thing with fifa because they knew the kids would still purchase no matter what. That’s why I like the apex community because we don’t play😭fifa packed it up and left EA. If you look at EA FC 24, straight up cash grab. New cards every week. New sbcs every few days. EA has done this many times. Overreach -> small worsening. It is how they make what they wanted to do (half battle pass time + charge twice) not look as bad as it could have if they just made it like this from the start. Not saying this time with theese changes it was neccecairly that bad but this strategy has been used reperatedly in other games.

Now the cheaters situation i still can't even survive 1 min with a random quad or such given the shield changes they changed a while back. The individual upgrades are good but grey shields are basically your dead in 2 secs. Basically if they had something similar to Fortnite pre shield cheatera would be caught faster!

the entire cosmetic pool is entirely too expensive. you boot up warzone and for 25 dollars you get an operator skin, 2 gun camos, stickers, player cards, emblems, etc. meanwhile apex is 60 dollars for something of similar amount. no way in hell am i paying that much.

It's been how many years now we've been playing this game? I still cannot believe people saying ''w respawn'' ''they're listening'' ''w communication'' LMAO they do not give a fuck. If they did this wouldn't have happened and this is not the first time they do some bs and then change it only to do something else down the line. All they care about is keeping us calm until they figure out what next bs they can throw at us while still keeping us playing. Its a fcking joke but glad to see more and more ppl are waking up to their bs tactics and manipulation.

I am very glad they responded in this way. Having a 4th tier to the battle pass is actually good. The free to play players get double the free rewards in a season. Premium players get the exact same except 1 reactive variant (but have the first one free and otherwise need to get less levels thus making it easier to complete and buy further battle passes). Players who didnt finish their battle passes get a benefit of 8 apex packs and crafting which wasn't there before through the Ultimate pass - the same price as purchasing with apex coins. And the players who want to unlock everything and have FOMO have the option to get the ultimate + one giving exclusive items which is way better than just giving level skips. So there is options for every type of player which is nice, but all of them have been improved upon previous battle passes.

Let's see if the battlepass is even as good as it should be before we say "good job!". So far I don't think anything has really changed....
